A sample policy for a fictional demo website, based on the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, in force since 1 September 2023.
Who is responsible
The placeholder details are Praxis Auenlicht, Mara Linden, Lindenbogenweg 00, 8000 Zurich, auenlicht@example.ch, +41 44 000 00 00. They do not identify an actual data controller. The real operator must be named before this site is used for a genuine practice.
When you visit this website
The website consists of static files. The hosting provider may process technical logs for delivery, security and troubleshooting, such as your IP address, time of access, requested URL, response status and browser or device details. Vercel is the intended hosting platform. The actual contracting Vercel entity, processing locations, recipients, any international disclosures and retention periods must be added after reviewing the hosting agreement. This sample does not invent deletion periods.
No cookies or tracking
The website itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Your language choice is part of the URL and is not stored. Fonts, graphics and page content are served from the same origin. External maps are not embedded. Vercel Analytics, Speed Insights and the Vercel Toolbar must be disabled for a publicly accessible demo.
Contact by email or telephone
In a real practice, the contact details and messages you supply would be used to respond to your enquiry. Email and telephone providers may process data in doing so. Please do not send sensitive health information by unencrypted email. The contact details on this demo are placeholders and must not be used for real enquiries. There is no contact form or online booking service.
External links
External websites, such as OpenStreetMap or official information pages, open only when you select a link. Their own privacy policies then apply. The crisis telephone links open your device’s calling function.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about the processing of your personal data and ask for correction or deletion. Further rights, such as receiving or transferring your data, may apply in certain circumstances. Legal retention duties and other lawful grounds may limit deletion. Requests should be directed to the actual data controller, whose details must be added before real-world use. You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Before real-world use
